Dear friends and members of the NCPS community,
With a heavy heart, we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Mr. John Grischow. John was a cherished member of our community, having dedicated his life to education and profoundly impacting countless students' lives.
John's journey in education was remarkable. He served as an Assistant Principal at both the middle and elementary school levels and, most recently, as an ESL teacher in our district. His passion for teaching was evident in his dedication as an educator.
We are deeply saddened by John's passing, and we ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. John's legacy as an educator and a loving family man will forever be etched in our hearts.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville, NC. A celebration of life will be held in Boardman at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity in John's memory.
