Student Support Services & Operations Department
Equity and Alternative Programs
Equity and Alternative Programs:
Nash County Public Schools offer many pathways to success. We offer non-traditional yet innovative and engaging educational options for families seeking new learning methods as an alternative to regular comprehensive high schools.
This department is committed to establishing a positive school climate to support students, teachers, administrators, and parents. We will work to serve families who have not found success in traditional school settings.
Nash County Public Schools works to re-examine enrollment policies in the school district with a lens toward increasing equitable access to our schools. This work is part of the NCPS Equity Plan to ensure a quality school for all Nash County Public School scholars.
Alternative Placement options:
Tar River Academy - Serves scholars in grades 9-12
