Due to the threat of inclement weather, Nash County Public Schools will be closed Friday, Sept. 27. This includes all schools and the central office. Additionally, all athletic activities and events scheduled for Friday have been canceled.

Media Alert: Nash County Public Schools to Close Friday Due to Threat of Inclement Weather

What: Nash County Public Schools and the central office will be closed Friday, Sept. 27, due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Helene. All athletic events and activities scheduled for Friday have been canceled.

When: Friday, Sept. 27, 2024

Why: The closure is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community.
