Today, we conducted a lockdown drill to reinforce our school safety protocols. This drill is mandated by both the state and our district to ensure that everyone is prepared for emergencies. We’re pleased to report that the drill was successful. Please remember that the safety of our students at RMHS is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding, and please keep in mind that this was only a drill. Wishing you all a marvelous Monday, and thank you for your continued support of our RMHS community!
Good evening Gryphon families,
As we begin the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year tomorrow, please note that due to inclement weather, we will be operating as a remote learning day.
While you may not be familiar with your new teachers just yet, each instructor will be sending an email tomorrow with expectations for their course. Please make sure your student checks their school email regularly for these updates.
In addition, students will need to complete the attendance Google form by the end of the school day (2:30 PM). Teachers will also have office hours available, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. Students are asked to attend just one of these sessions if they have any questions.
We plan to operate on a two-hour delay this Friday (weather permitting), and students will have a 20-minute homeroom to pick up a hard copy of their second-semester schedule.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please stay safe and warm. We look forward to seeing your student on Friday!
Parent Application Information Night for Early College High

Good Evening Gryphons,
We will proceed with the administration of exams as follows: the 2nd period exam tomorrow, the 3rd period exam on Tuesday, and the 4th period exam on Wednesday. Thursday will be a regular school day, allowing students who missed an exam to make it up.
Important reminders:
Exam Schedule & Checkout Procedures: Please read the email from Mrs. Deans for the detailed daily exam schedule and checkout procedures. Note that phone calls will not be accepted for checkouts and students can only checkout during their schedule hall’s lunch period. No additional forms will be accepted at this time.
EOC Testing (Math I, Math III, and Biology): If you’re taking any of these exams, you now have the option to use the Read Aloud feature. Be sure to bring corded headphones to use this feature during your EOC exam. It is important that you understand if you accidentally click the Read Aloud button during the administration of your EOC without corded headphones being attached to your device, that is considered a misadministration.
EOC Testing Locations: The locations for EOC testing will be posted in the cafeteria. Please check it to know where to report.
Arrival Time: It is crucial that you arrive on time for exams so that testing can begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Make sure to get a restful night’s sleep and come prepared to demonstrate all that you have learned from your teachers' instruction. Your attendance is essential for earning credit for your Fall classes.
Cellphones & Personal Items: Please note that all cell phones, smartwatches, airpods, etc. must be placed in a secured location until testing is complete. Additionally, examinees taking EOCs will be required to store their personal items in a secured area to ensure sufficient space for the test administrator to effectively monitor the testing environment.
Finally, if you are experiencing any issues with your devices, please visit the Media Center as soon as possible to have them resolved. Please be sure that you bring a charged device and your charger for each day of exam administration—let’s ensure everyone is ready for testing.
Thank you, and good luck on your exams!
