I trust everyone has enjoyed a quick break and is ready to get back to school for a new week.
Please be reminded that the Breakfast Line closes at 8:05 each day.
Our Spring Fundraiser will kick off Friday, March 28th with our students. As always, we need funding to do some of the end of year celebrations and help our school in general. Please help us have a successful fundraiser.
There are no special events this week as we are aligning our focus closer and closer to the EOY and EOG assessments. Here is where we stand.
Grades K-2 have 20 instructional days until we begin EOY mClass Assessments. They start on 3/31 and continue to 4/11
Grades 3-5 have major assessments coming as well. NC Check ins will be the week of 4/14 – 4/17
Grades 3-5 Will have EOG Testing in May. The Testing window begins May 23rd and continues through May 30th.
Being present during these dates is crucial. Please do not make appointments for the last week in May. Make up testing will occur during celebrations and even awards day. I do not want students to work so hard and then have to miss a celebration by making up the EOG.
Mark Your Calendars! The SHES Annual Field Day is set for April 17th. All parents are invited. This is always a great day for students and families. We will have lunch choices available to eat with your student. More info will be sent on this as we go into April.
Thanks for your continued support and it is a pleasure to serve as your Principal.
